The energy of Mercury
In the world of mythology and astrology, Mercury (or Hermes, as he is known in Greek mythology) is often regarded as the god of communication, speed and ingenuity. These qualities are found not only in mythological stories, but also appear surprisingly often in our daily lives. If you pay close attention, you will surely recognise people around you with the same Mercury energy!
People who embody the energy of Mercury are often the problem-solvers of their environment. They always manage to find a creative way to overcome obstacles, whether it's technical problems, everyday challenges or even complicated situations. They excel at coming up with clever, often innovative solutions. From repairing a broken appliance to devising new ideas in the workplace – their practical approach stands out.
Another striking characteristic of Mercury energy is the strong affinity with communication and art. These people often feel drawn to professions or hobbies in which they can express their creativity. Think of writers, journalists, musicians, or artists. Whether they use words, music or images, Mercury influences help them convey their thoughts and feelings clearly. They know how to inspire and move their audience, and often do so in a unique and creative way.
Like the god Mercury, people with this energy are often quick, both physically and mentally. They can switch lightning-fast between different ideas or situations and have a well-developed capacity for adaptation. Whether it's understanding complex issues or achieving sporting feats, their flexibility and speed stand out. They are often the first to respond to changes, and do so with ease.
In addition to their intellectual capacities, people with Mercury energy often also have great dexterity. This can manifest itself in various practical skills: from cooking to DIY, from technology to handicrafts. They are skilled at tackling tasks and often solve problems quickly and efficiently, amazing others time and again with their craftsmanship.
If you recognise these qualities in the people around you, there is a good chance you are dealing with someone who carries the Mercury energy within them. I don’t have to look far myself: my husband is a perfect embodiment of these qualities. He was even the inspiration for this post (with his approval, of course)! His creativity, ingenuity and speed are daily reminders to me of the energy of Mercury.
